Welcome to the home of Creekside Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. We are located in the Pacific Northwest, just south of Tacoma, WA (Seattle area) in the city of Lakewood. We hope you enjoy viewing our website, learning about our Cavaliers and our commitment to this delightful breed. We strive to produce quality Cavaliers with excellent temperament, soundness, and health.
Carla Mathies is a member of the AKC National Cavalier Parent Club – ACKCSC. She is a past member of the Board of Directors serving the AKC Regional Cavalier Club of Puget Sound. In addition, Carla is currently licensed by AKC to judge 22 Sporting breeds, as well as Dachshunds & Junior Showmanship.
News - Justin won 1st AWARD OF MERIT @ the 2009 ACKCSC National Specialty April 30th over an entry of 357 Cavaliers held in Hyannis, MA. We thank judge Mr. Kenneth McDermott for this most honorable win. Justin also won 1st AWARD OF MERIT @ the 2009 Host Regional Specialty CKCSC of Southern New England May 2nd over an entry of 168, under judge Mr. Steven Seymour from England. Our appreciation to Mr. Seymour for this recognition.
Justin won an AKC BEST IN SHOW under judge Mr. William Bergum, defeating 1,321 dogs at the Linn County Kennel Club in Albany, OR on February 10th, 2008. That same weekend, he also won back-to-back Toy Group Firsts - 260 Toys on Sat. & 242 Toys on Sun. defeated.
